Boho Basics for the Modern Boho

So...you want to know how to style your wardrobe a little more boho?  

Start with basics. Basic wardrobe essentials are the secret to creating a modern bohemian style.  Fringe, lace and textured patterns are the icing on the cake so to speak.  But to make these items shine, you need long lasting basics. 

Relaxed and comfortable styles are showing themselves in a big way now all across fashion lines.  The 70's is roaring it's head...but in a modern more "I'm in control" way. Today's bohemian girl is in control of her journey, knows what she wants, and is not willing to settle for what everyone else has.  She is distinct in the way that she lives and the way that she dresses.

For most of us...we want a blended style, a look that allows us to feel good and look good while doing whatever we have to do during the day.  How do you pull these looks together without looking like you're going to a weekend festival?...with basics.   You want simple pieces that can stretch your traveling and working wardrobe and make it as hassle free as possible. 

We've got some boho basics that you might not typically think are boho.  Why?...well they're just tshirts or plain dresses you might say.  Well... sort of.  It is these basic pieces that are essential to any wardrobe.  We're a big fan of pieces that have multiple ways to be worn.  We want fabrics that are soft and long lasting.  They are pieces that we live and travel with because they play so well with our more creative and daring pieces. They may appear as boring, everyday wear, but it's what you do with those tees and how you pair them with your patterned and textured favorite pieces.   These are the key to pulling off modern boho without looking like you're headed to a circus.

Artful layering that has an undeliberate approach is a favorite trick to any modern bohemian.
